1st Court of Instance:
- Club La Costa Sucursal – The contract was declared null due to missing information on contract duration and accommodation details, as required under Spanish law 04/2012. Court costs were also awarded. £14,862 awarded.
- Club La Costa Sucursal – The contract was declared null due to missing information on contract duration and accommodation details, as required under Spanish law 04/2012. Court costs were also awarded. £10,131 awarded.
- Club La Costa Sucursal – The contract was declared null due to missing information on contract duration and accommodation details, as required under Spanish law 04/2012. £15,897 awarded.
- Club La Costa Sucursal – The contract was declared null due to missing information on contract duration and accommodation details, as required under Spanish law 04/2012. £22,334 awarded.
- Club La Costa Sucursal – The contract was declared null due to missing information on contract duration and accommodation details, as required under Spanish law 04/2012. £15,897 awarded.
- Majexo Sl/BIC Leisure – The claim was upheld in full. The court also awarded double the amount paid during the cooling-off period, plus costs. £11,994 awarded.
Appeals:
- CLC Continental Resorts – The Court of Appeal confirmed our first-instance win. The Appeal Court clarified the difference between the certificate and the purchase contract; Continental’s attempt to waive the certificate was rejected. Court costs were also awarded. £22,659 awarded.
- Anfi – The Court dismissed Anfi’s appeal and ordered them to pay costs. The appeal argued the contract had been terminated because the claimants had not paid maintenance fees. The Appeal Court ruled that only a contract that is not null and void under mandatory law can be terminated. Court costs were also awarded. £12,247 awarded.

M1 Legal secured 4 jurisdiction victories last week, all against Club La Costa. The defence challenged whether the cases should be heard in the Spanish courts. All four cases will now proceed to the next stage.
