Silverpoint has suffered another defeat in court after a Silverpoint court case in Tenerife was heard at the Arona Court. In this matter, Silverpoint Vacations had issued the client with a timeshare contract that the court found to be unlawful. The agreement did not include the basic accommodation details required by law — such as clear information on what the client had purchased and when they were entitled to use it.
After reviewing the terms, the Judge concluded that the contract should be declared null and void. As a result, Silverpoint was ordered to pay £54,260 to the client, with costs also awarded.
This is another strong result for the client and a clear reminder of the importance of properly drafted timeshare agreements that set out accommodation and usage rights in plain terms. Congratulations to M1 Legal.
