M1 Legal has reported another successful result following a court hearing against Anfi Sales SL in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Spain. The case concerned an Anfi Sales timeshare agreement that was found to be invalid after the court considered key contract terms.
In particular, the court heard that the Anfi Sales contract ran for more than 50 years and did not clearly set out the minimum accommodation details. This included a lack of clarity on exactly what was purchased and when it could be used, leaving essential information unclear for the consumer.
Following the court ruling, the judge ordered Anfi Sales to pay our client £16,124.
For anyone trying to understand what this Anfi Sales court ruling in Spain means in practice, the decision highlights the importance of timeshare contracts setting out core details in a clear and specific way – including the duration of the agreement and the accommodation and usage terms.
M1 Legal and their client are very pleased with the outcome.
