At Court 2 in Arona, Tenerife, a judge heard a case against Majexo S.L.
The clients originally signed their agreement under the contractual name B.I.C leisure, which was later changed to Majexo S.L.
During the hearing, it emerged that the contract did not include the minimum legal requirements for a timeshare agreement. In particular, it failed to provide a clear property description, including the building, location, the specific accommodation and a reference to the land registry. The agreement also did not state an end date, which the court considered unlawful.
Following close scrutiny, the contract was deemed null and void, and the judge ordered Majexo S.L. to pay the client £16,900.
Another win for M1 legal.
