RCI Points (Bic Leisure) ordered to pay £15,620 after contract ruled null and void

Latest Recent Victories update from Timeshare Advice Centre.

Bic Leisure appeared in court this week in relation to a dispute over an RCI Points contract.

During the hearing, the court again concluded that the contract issued to the clients failed to meet the minimum requirements expected of this type of agreement. A key point raised was that the apartment linked to the contract was not registered. After reviewing the documentation and submissions, the judge ruled that the agreement should be treated as null and void.

As a result, the court ordered Bic Leisure to pay the clients £15,620. This court-ordered payout follows the finding that the RCI Points contract did not satisfy the necessary standards, reinforcing the importance of compliant paperwork and properly recorded accommodation details in points-based holiday ownership arrangements.

It is another strong result for M1 Legal and the client.
