Spanish timeshare court victory against CLC: contract declared null and void, £11,977 awarded

Latest Recent Victories update from Timeshare Advice Centre.

Today, a Spanish court ruled in favour of another former CLC owner, with the CLC contract declared null and void. As a result, the agreement no longer applies and the client is released from it permanently. The court also ordered CLC to pay our clients £11,977.

This outcome follows a CLC contract cancellation court case in which the court found that the contract should not stand. In practical terms, it means the CLC contract terminated by court and the client can move on without any ongoing obligations under that agreement.

If you’re looking for guidance on how to cancel a CLC contract, the key is getting clear advice on your paperwork and your options before you take any steps. In some situations, legal action against CLC may be appropriate, particularly where there is an active CLC owner contract dispute and court proceedings are the most effective way to resolve it. Depending on the circumstances, it may also be possible to claim compensation from CLC, and in some cases CLC pay compensation to clients following a court order.

Well done to our legal team at M1 Legal, and congratulations to our clients on securing this result.
