Important: Anfi Group timeshare owners warned not to sign Continental Trustee agreement

Latest Blog update from Timeshare Advice Centre.

We have become aware that Anfi Sales SL are contacting Anfi Members about signing a new agreement with a fiduciary company called Continental Trustee Ltd. The stated purpose is to ensure strict control of property inventory. Anfi indicate there is no change to your rights to use the accommodation.

However, we have also noted that the document being sent to members refers to termination of the previous contract.

Firm of lawyers M1 Legal state this may be a strategy to bring older Anfi contracts to an end and reduce the risk of future court claims. Anfi have a significant number of claims being processed through the Spanish courts relating to non-compliant contracts. M1 Legal alone have 202 live cases valued at £4.4 million.

IMPORTANT – If you sign the new contract, you may forfeit your right to claim.

This is not the first time we have seen this type of approach being used.

If you are an Anfi Group owner and have received an Anfi Sales SL / Continental Trustee letter, or you would like advice before signing a new contract, contact us today to speak to one of our friendly advice team.
