Property embargos at Club La Costa World: Spanish court bank account asset freezes

Latest Blog update from Timeshare Advice Centre.

M1 Legal have requested, and the court has agreed, a Club La Costa World embargo affecting three bank accounts held by Paradise Trading S.L., a trading name used by Club La Costa World. These measures are not the result of enforcement action; they have been granted at the outset of the legal proceedings. The aim is to freeze assets so that, if the judge later declares the contract null and void, it can help prevent unnecessary delays in making any payout to the client.

In addition, there have been several favourable judgements in recent months involving Club La Costa World-related companies, with awards ordered to clients of M1 Legal. The list below includes judgements against different entities operating under the Club La Costa World umbrella, including the Continental Resort Services SLU judgement and awards involving Paradise Trading S.L..

24th September Continental Resort Services SLU £ 22,659 Awarded
25th September Club La Costa UK PLC Sucursal en España £ 14,533 Awarded
9th October Club La Costa UK PLC Sucursal en España £ 14,973 Awarded
14th October Club La Costa UK PLC Sucursal en España £ 17,265 Awarded
16th October Paradise Trading S.L. £ 17,635 Awarded
