First Instance Court rulings
- Diamond Resorts – The contract was declared null and void due to a lack of key information about the contract term and accommodation details, as required under Spanish Law 04/2012. Costs were awarded in our favour. £22,537 awarded.
- Anfi – The contract was declared null and void due to a lack of key information about the contract term and accommodation details, as required under Spanish Law 04/2012. Costs were awarded in our favour. £26,961 awarded.
- Club La Costa – The contract was declared null and void due to a lack of key information about the contract term and accommodation details, as required under Spanish Law 04/2012. Costs were awarded in our favour. £18,608 awarded.
Spanish jurisdiction hearings
7 jurisdiction victories valued at £84,193
M1 Legal secured seven jurisdiction decisions last week: five involving Club La Costa and two involving Diamond Resorts. In each case, the defence argued the claims should not be heard by the Spanish courts. The court rejected those challenges, and all matters will now proceed to the next stage.
