M1 Legal secured six successful outcomes, with a combined total award of £95,827.
First Instance Court rulings
Club La Costa: Last week, our legal team achieved four wins for clients in a Club La Costa timeshare court case. In each matter, the court declared the contract null due to a lack of required information, including details of the property and when it could be used. Total amount awarded: £65,738.
Appeal court decisions
We also secured two appeal victories last week: one against Club La Costa and one against Anfi. In both cases, the judge ruled in our favour and awarded court costs. In addition, the Club La Costa case is already being presented as a creditor in CLC’s liquidation proceedings. Total value of these cases: £30,089.
Spanish jurisdiction decisions
Four jurisdiction victories were secured last week, valued at £81,598. M1 Legal achieved these results in cases against CLC, where the defence challenged whether the claims should be heard in the Spanish courts. Three wins were at the initial jurisdiction hearing, and one was a jurisdiction victory on appeal. All cases will now move to the next stage.
