We are pleased to share last week’s Spanish timeshare court victories.
M1 Legal secured 12 successful outcomes, with total awards of £254,120.
- Club La Costa – Last week, we secured 8 victories for our clients. The courts declared the contracts null due to a lack of key information (including the property and when clients could use it). Total amount awarded across all 8 cases: £106,792.
- Anfi – We also secured a substantial court award against Anfi. The contract was declared null for the same reasons as above, with £95,400 awarded.
- Club La Costa appeals – Last week, we won 3 appeals, and the judge also ordered CLC to pay court costs in each case. Total value of these cases: £51,928.
5 jurisdiction victories valued at £90,707
M1 Legal secured 5 jurisdiction victories last week: four against CLC and one against RCI Europe. The defence challenged whether the cases should be heard under Spanish jurisdiction. These challenges were rejected, and all cases will now proceed.
