£27,311 victory as Anfi Sales appeal dismissed in Gran Canaria court case

Latest Recent Victories update from Timeshare Advice Centre.

Anfi Sales attempted to overturn the first-instance judgment by filing an appeal and taking the dispute to the Audiencia Provincial Court in Gran Canaria. Following a review of the case, the appeal court rejected Anfi Sales’ arguments, dismissed the appeal, and confirmed the earlier ruling in M1’s favour.

In upholding the original decision, the court reaffirmed that the contract issued to our clients by Anfi Sales did not satisfy the required legal standards. The judge therefore maintained the order for Anfi Sales to pay an award of £27,311 to our clients.

This ruling means the Anfi Sales court case in Gran Canaria remains decided in line with the first-instance judgment, with the appeal court leaving that outcome unchanged. In practical terms, the appeal has not altered the position: the original findings stand and the appeal bid has been refused.

We are pleased to have secured this result for our clients and to see the first decision upheld on appeal. The dismissal of the Anfi Sales appeal provides clear confirmation of the court’s view on the contract issues raised in this matter and brings the case to a firm point of closure at this stage of the proceedings.
