Substantial double Silverpoint timeshare court victory in Arona, Tenerife: £77,633 awarded

Latest Recent Victories update from Timeshare Advice Centre.

M1 Legal secured a substantial double court victory against Silverpoint, with two separate awards totalling £77,633 (each case coming in at just under £40,000). Both matters were heard at the Arona court in Tenerife and resulted in a clear win for the clients.

In each case, the court found that Silverpoint Vacations had issued unlawful timeshare contracts. The judge determined that the contractual paperwork did not set out key minimum accommodation requirements under the applicable law. In practical terms, the documentation failed to provide the essential information a consumer needs, including clear details of what was being purchased and when the timeshare could be used.

As part of the Spanish legal process, M1 Legal supported both clients from start to finish and pursued reimbursement of the sums paid. Following the hearing, the judge ruled that both Silverpoint timeshare agreements should be nullified, and ordered compensation payments totalling £77,633 across the two clients.

This result reinforces that where timeshare contracts do not meet the required legal standards—particularly around the minimum accommodation details and the clarity of use rights—the court may treat them as invalid and order the return of money paid. For anyone following Silverpoint claims in Tenerife, the Arona judgment provides a further example of the court applying these standards in practice.

A timely double result going into the festive season.

Congratulations all round.
