Another M1 Legal client has secured a court award against Club La Costa after the Court of First Instance in Arona found that the timeshare contract did not meet the minimum legal requirements relating to the accommodation.
In a clear outcome for the client, the Judge ruled fully in our clients’ favour and ordered Club La Costa to pay legal costs totalling £17,635. The decision underlines that, where a contract fails to comply with the required standards, the Court may find in favour of the consumer.
This latest Arona court result sits alongside a run of further positive procedural outcomes. M1 Legal also recorded a further five jurisdiction victories involving Club La Costa across the Arona Courts and Málaga’s High Court, helping to keep these cases on track and progressing through the Spanish court system.
For many owners, a successful court claim can be a decisive step towards leaving behind an unwanted timeshare commitment, particularly where the agreement is challenged on compliance grounds and the Court finds the contract wanting.
Impressive work from the M1 Legal team.
