Spanish timeshare court claims: Silverpoint contracts ruled null and void, £72,921 awarded

Latest Recent Victories update from Timeshare Advice Centre.

In the first week after the Spanish courts reopened, M1 Legal are pleased to report two significant wins in a Silverpoint court case Tenerife, heard at the First Court of Instance in Los Cristianos.

In both matters, the court found that there was missing accommodation information timeshare contract detail, including when the accommodation could be used, where it was located and what it comprised.

In addition, one agreement was a Silverpoint timeshare in perpetuity contract, meaning it had no end date.

The judge issued a Spanish court ruling Silverpoint timeshare decision that the Silverpoint timeshare contract null and void, and ordered Silverpoint to pay clients £23,657 and £48,264.

We are also pleased to report two further jurisdiction wins relating to Club La Costa. CLC argued that the cases should not be heard in Spain, but this was rejected, meaning both matters will proceed in the Spanish courts, supporting Club La Costa jurisdiction Spanish courts.

Both cases were contracted in the name of CLC UK Sucursal en España court case: Club La Costa (UK) Sucursal en España.

A strong start to September.

Congratulations to M1 Legal and their clients on this M1 Legal Silverpoint claim success.
