We are pleased to report that M1 Legal has secured a significant court win against Onagroup, involving contracts in the names of Resthotel S.A. and Medhotel group S.L.
In the contracts reviewed, key information about the accommodation was missing. This included land registry details, clarity on when and for how long the accommodation could be used, and the type of unit provided (for example, a studio, one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartment). In addition, the contract term was set as unlimited, exceeding the maximum duration permitted under the law.
The judge ruled that the contract should be treated as null and void and ordered Onagroup to pay €78,150.
