The clients held two timeshare-related contracts with Cala Pi Maintenance S.L. and Noarre S.L. Their resort at Cala Pi brought a court claim in Spain for unpaid maintenance fees totalling more than €12,000.
M1 Legal intervened, arguing that the claimant was only the maintenance fee company (Cala Pi Maintenance S.L.), rather than the contractual party. M1 Legal also issued a claim against Noarre S.L. and asked the court to declare both contracts null and void.
The judge dismissed the maintenance fee claim against the clients, and both contracts were quashed.
Three lawyers worked on this case to secure the outcome for the clients.
Mr & Mrs Gough commented on their case:
“Cala Pi started a claim against us for unpaid maintenance fees, and it ended up being around €12,000. It took some time, but we expected that with it being a court case in Spain. M1 Legal were completely behind us in defending us. M1 went to court on our behalf and our two contracts were quashed. We always pay our bills, so having a company demand a substantial amount from us was extremely stressful. We cannot thank M1 Legal enough that this is now over and we can move on with our lives without this hanging over us.”
Mr & Mrs Gough, Derby.
