Spanish timeshare court ruling against Anfi: Supreme Court declares contract null and void, £18,241 award

Latest Recent Victories update from Timeshare Advice Centre.

We are pleased to confirm that yesterday evening we received the Ayres v Anfi Sales S.L judgment in the case of Ayres v. Anfi Sales S.L & Anfi Resorts S.L, provided by our legal partners at M1 Legal. This latest Anfi timeshare court ruling Spain adds to the growing body of decisions being handed down in similar matters.

In this Anfi Resorts Supreme Court judgment, the contract was declared null and void. Under the court’s findings, the defendants must pay the clients £18,241.20, plus statutory interest. In addition, £1,366.00 (an advanced payment) is to be repaid, also plus interest. Together, this forms the Spanish Supreme Court Anfi compensation award set out in the ruling.

The defendants also issued a counterclaim seeking reimbursement of £58,274.29; that claim was rejected by the court. The outcome reflects the court’s position on the issues raised in the Anfi Sales S.L Supreme Court decision, as recorded in the judgment.

Congratulations to the team at M1 Legal on this result in the M1 Legal Anfi Supreme Court case.
