Out with the old, and in with the new

Celebrations and new beginnings

The Earth has completed another 585 million-mile journey around the sun, bringing four more seasons, another birthday each, and one more year’s worth of memories. As the old year gives way to the new, we gather with friends and family to celebrate fresh beginnings and second chances.

For many of us, the turn of the year is also a moment to commit to positive change and self-improvement.

In good spirits, we make bold resolutions in the company of those we love, aiming to improve ourselves and support the people around us.

2023 and 2024 for TAC

2023 has been a hugely positive year for timeshare owners who felt they were mis-sold. Timeshare Advice Centre's legal partners have successfully secured well over £4.5 million in compensation awards for clients.

Over 340 further people have also been released from burdensome ownerships by our Relinquishment Team.

As strong as 2023 has been, 2024 is shaping up to be even busier. Timeshare Advice Center US and American Consumer Claims have been warmly received by a US market looking for trustworthy relinquishment options. Our activity is ramping up across the pond.

Several long-term actions against major timeshare operations in Europe are progressing into the new year, and we expect these to lead to significant award payouts for our clients.

Hope for the future

Amid the celebrations with loved ones, we look ahead to what the year might bring. Will 2024 deliver economic recovery? Will there be an end to the war in Ukraine?

Will COVID gradually fade? Will the crewed Artemis spacecraft successfully orbit the Moon in preparation for human lunar landings in 2025?

And will there be an avalanche of proposals on 29 February?
