Our legal associates, Spanish law firm M1 Legal, are delivering standout results in timeshare claims and quickly becoming the new “heroes” taking on the resorts. In the last week alone, they reported five court victories with awards totalling £95,918.18.
2019: almost £1/2 million in payouts so far
So far in 2019, M1 have secured 27 victories in which timeshare resorts have been ordered to pay a combined £499,636.82. In addition, they have achieved 15 jurisdiction victories. In all 15 cases, the defence argued the claim should not be heard in Spain on the basis that the contract fell under English law. That argument was overruled and the cases have now been re-submitted.
Right now, M1 also have:
- 576 cases in the courts
- 251 cases being prepared

Our offices

The head office is in Mijas Costa, southern Spain, and we would love people to visit the M1 hub. That said, we know it’s not always easy to travel, so there are also satellite offices across the UK for convenience.
