Our Legal Team enjoyed another success recently against Silverpoint Resorts. Our client was actually sold shares in a company for which he should have gone to a Notary Public as required when buying shares in a company but this did not happen. This is because the purchase was disguised as a Fractional Ownership. Our Legal Team spotted this when they studied the title deeds and negotiated an exit strategy with the Resort, which included a disclaimer being signed by both parties to prevent any further liabilities to our client. A full refund of &pound5,000 was returned to our client, which was the entire cost of their purchase.
